When Mom or Dad tell me I can't have something, it is important that I listen.
Money is a limited resource. That means there is only so much of it.
Because money is limited, we prioritize what we spend money on. Prioritizing means choosing the most important things first.
If we don't prioritize, we could run out of money. Then we might not have enough for the things we need.
This is why we can't buy everything we want, even when we want it a lot.
I can earn money. When I earn money, I can prioritize how I spend it.
When I hear no, I can listen. I can also remember that I can earn money and choose how to spend it.
